By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to verify any information you provide and to refuse service if we believe you do not meet our eligibility criteria.
Our Services
Sezzle Pay Later operates as a loan referral service. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. When you submit a loan application through our platform, we share your information with our network of lending partners who may offer you a loan based on their own underwriting criteria.
We do not guarantee that you will receive a loan offer, and we do not guarantee any specific interest rate, loan amount, or terms. Loan offers depend entirely on the assessment made by our lending partners. If you accept a loan offer, your agreement will be directly with the lending partner, and their terms and conditions will govern your loan.
Application Process
When you apply for a loan through our platform, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You authorize us to obtain your credit report and other information necessary to evaluate your application. You understand that a soft credit inquiry will be performed initially, which does not affect your credit score. If you accept a loan offer, a hard credit inquiry may be performed, which may impact your credit score.
You agree not to provide false or misleading information in your application. Providing inaccurate information may result in denial of your application, immediate termination of any loan obtained, and may constitute fraud, which can result in civil and criminal penalties.
Account Responsibilities
If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
You are responsible for ensuring that your contact information is current and accurate. We may send important communications regarding your loan application or account to the email address and phone number you provide. Failure to receive such communications due to inaccurate contact information is your responsibility.
Loan Terms and Conditions
If you are approved for and accept a loan through one of our lending partners, the specific terms of your loan—including the interest rate, repayment schedule, fees, and other conditions—will be set forth in your loan agreement with that lender. You should carefully review all loan documents before accepting any loan offer.
Loan amounts through our platform range from $500 to $5,000, with terms ranging from 3 to 24 months. Annual Percentage Rates (APR) range from 5.99% to 35.99%, depending on your creditworthiness and other factors. These ranges are illustrative and your actual loan terms may vary.
Fees and Charges
Sezzle Pay Later does not charge you directly for using our loan referral service. However, our lending partners may charge various fees in connection with your loan, which will be disclosed in your loan agreement. These may include origination fees, late payment fees, and returned payment fees.
We encourage you to carefully review all fees associated with any loan offer before accepting it. Understanding the total cost of borrowing, including all fees, is essential to making an informed decision about whether a loan is right for you.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to use our Services to engage in any fraudulent activity, provide false or misleading information, attempt to circumvent our security measures, interfere with the proper functioning of our website, or engage in any activity that could harm other users or our business.
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our Services immediately and without notice if we believe you have violated any of these prohibitions or are otherwise engaging in conduct harmful to us or our users.

Limitation of Liability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Travis County, Texas.
